The Globe and Mail: Canada in the running to headquarter new multinational defence bank

Major international banks — including Royal Bank of Canada, JPMorgan Chase, ING, Commerzbank and Landesbank Baden-Württemberg — are backing the creation of the new Defence, Security and Resilience Bank (DSRB), a multinational institution that could bring 3,500 defence-finance jobs to Canada if Ottawa secures the headquarters. Testifying before MPs, DSRB development group president Kevin Reed said, “This is Canada’s time to lead.”
